What do I need to get done before going to Korea?
Apply to University
Apply to TaLK
Apply for student visa
Get braces situation figured out
These are the biggest things; The things I am worrying about at the moment.
I am working on my application for KongJu but it is confusing.
I am waiting for a reply from KongJu about applying for TaLK.
I cannot get a student visa until I have proof that I am enrolled in a foreign university.
I can call me orthodontist and set up an appointment. But I'm avoiding doing it.

Purpose
I will be continuously updating this blog with the steps I am taking to make it to Korea, in order to see my dear friends again. I will be chronicling the successes and setbacks of the process to get enrolled in KongJu, a Korean university, and getting accepted into the Teach and Learn Korean (TaLK) program, a Korean-government created program designed to draw native English speakers to Korea to teach in rural elementary schools. After I arrive in Korea, as I am determined to do, I will be posting about the things I am learning about the Korean culture and the society I will be living in for six months.
It's going to be a grand adventure, and I am up for the challenges which are on the long road before me.
